The Knauss Homestead is open for guided tours by appointment. Contact us or call  610-443-8626 to schedule your visit. The Emmaus Remembrance Garden is open from dawn to dusk every day.


There is no cost to visit the Knauss Homestead. That said, we rely 100% on memberships and donations to keep this historic treasure around for generations to come.

What You’ll See

The Knauss Homestead is a remarkably preserved 18th Century dwelling. You’ll see Revolutionary War-era construction, craftsmanship, furnishings and household objects. A visit to the Knauss Homestead is a trip to the beginning of this eastern Pennsylvania community.
